Local Money

Money is a difficult topic to discuss. Basically money was created to compare apples with pears.

Money is a good way to improve the speed of your economy. If you want to improve the local economy, the best thing to do is create a local currency that works in your community.

In this way, poor cities may still be as poor as before, but with a blooming economy!

For the transition network, Peter North wrote the book “Local Money – How to make it happen in your community.”.

The foreword and more information about the book can be found here.

With a background in Industrial Design, Jan quickly shifted his focus towards business design and using the design process in strategic management.
